1. Summary

We provide tools to help you manage job applications, including uploading a resume, capturing job-related information from websites via our browser extension, and generating tailored application materials. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information we collect

A. Account and authentication

When you create an account or sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes information such as your email address and authentication credentials. We receive an account identifier associated with your profile.

B. Profile information

We may store basic profile information tied to your account (for example, email on file in our database).

C. Resume and documents

If you upload a resume, we store the file (for example, PDF) and may store extracted or structured text derived from it to power features (for example, tailoring outputs to your experience).

D. Job postings and application-related content

When you use the Services (including the extension), you may submit or generate content such as job posting URLs, titles, captured job description text, form field metadata, and related screenshots or images needed to analyze application pages.

E. Generated outputs

We may store AI-generated drafts and related structured data (for example, tailored resume versions, suggested answers), as well as export files (for example, PDFs) if you generate them.

F. Billing and subscription status

If you subscribe, our payment provider (Polar, operating as Merchant of Record for paid transactions as applicable) processes payment information. We typically receive subscription status, customer identifiers, and billing-related metadata—not your full card number.

G. Technical and usage data

We may collect standard technical information needed to operate the Services, such as device/browser type, IP address, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and security-related events.

H. Extension-specific notes

The browser extension may access page content on sites you choose to use it on, consistent with the permissions disclosed in the Chrome Web Store listing. The extension communicates with our servers to provide features you initiate (for example, scanning or analysis).

3. How we use information

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run the Services, including hosting, authentication, database/storage, payments/billing, analytics (if used), and AI inference providers. They are permitted to process data only on our instructions and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect users and the public.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate notices and choices where required.

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense. If we ever offer advertising-related sharing where required by law, we will provide appropriate disclosures and choices.

6. Data retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business needs (for example, billing records, security logs, legal compliance). You may request deletion as described below, subject to exceptions (for example, information we must retain by law).

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

If you access the Services from outside the country where our systems or vendors operate, your information may be processed in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or rely on permitted derogations.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

The Services are not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Third-party links and sites
